ADVANCED WEEKEND WORKSHOPS

Advanced Shamanic Depossession Healing™

For graduates of the FSS Three Year Program of Advanced Initiations in Shamanism & Shamanic Healing

Shamanic Depossession Healing* is concerned with the souls of deceased humans remaining in the Middle World, either because they are unable to pass out of this realm, or have chosen to stay for their own reasons. These souls are often suffering, lost, or confused and may form connections with living people, which can vary in degree from minor influence to feelings of compulsion on the part of the living person. Thus, both the living person and the influencing spirit need healing.

Because depossession healing is very advanced work, this workshop is reserved for graduates of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies' Three-Year Program. To practice depossession safely and effectively requires maturity, knowledge of shamanic methods and the spirit realms, and power gained through shamanic healing practice and strong relationships with the compassionate helping spirits.

Participants will be trained in and practice the essential elements of shamanic depossession healing, including:

  • Discussions of the wide variety of situations that can be encountered, both with clients and with influencing spirits
  • Learning how to work with your helping spirits to discern the presence of influencing spirits
  • The importance of spiritual power and compassion to effective depossession healing
  • Navigating potentially complex ethical situations in negotiating with influencing spirits to receive their permission for healing
  • Practice with other participants offering and receiving shamanic depossession healing
