Worldwide, the most common mode for shamans to change consciousness and enter into another spiritual reality is rhythmic drumming. When the correct beat is sustained, this inborn human ability, termed the “shamanic state of consciousness” by Michael Harner, promotes powerful shamanic journeying and healing. It also has benefits such as lowered anxiety and relief from depression and physical pain.

What to Expect
- All FSS workshops and training programs are experiential, interactive, and participatory. They feature instruction and practice with shamanic methodologies, as well as journeywork, shamanic drumming, group sharing, and small group discussions.

- No prerequisites required. New and experienced shamanic practitioners, as well as those curious about this safe and effective way to change consciousness, can benefit.
- Your instructor: Adam Bosler, FSS Faculty. Adam has been a rock-n-roll drummer for 35 years. He has been facilitating online and in-person shamanic journey circles since 2014, as well as teaching and drumming for numerous FSS workshops and advanced trainings.
