Wade Prpich, MEDes
I was born and raised in rural northern Alberta. As a Canadian boy, my winters were filled playing hockey and my summers exploring a beautiful landscape of lush forests, hills, and fields with its abundant wildlife. Like most children I was very open to the spiritual world and was fortunate to have had many natural spiritual awakenings throughout my formative years. However, it was not until much later that I begin to understand these awakenings and, as a result, I developed a natural affinity for the spiritual path. To start, I was drawn to Buddhism and for many years I studied and practiced in this tradition, particularly Tibetan Buddhism. At the same time, I developed a passion for the knowledge of the mystics and am very interested in the nondual traditions which focus on direct spiritual experience and its relation to human development. From this fertile ground, I was naturally drawn to shamanism for its inherent healing and transformative capacity.
For over two decades I have been on the shamanic path. Through this process, I have both witnessed and have been transformed by the spiritual healing power of shamanism. Today, I am a dedicated shamanic practitioner who is moved to support individuals on their path of healing, personal growth, and spiritual transformation.
I am a graduate of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies Three-Year Program of Advanced Initiations in Shamanism and Shamanic Healing, as well as the Two-Week Shamanic Healing Intensive. I have studied with Michael Harner, Alicia Gates, and Susan Mokelke.
