Growing up, frequent moves meant adapting to new places and uncertainty. Throughout those early years, one constant was an ongoing relationship with spirits, expressed through quiet conversations during everyday moments such as bus rides home from school.
In the spring of 2014, I found myself lying down in a dark room experiencing my first shamanic healing. Since that day, my life has never been the same. That same year, my mother and I attended The Way of the Shaman® workshop and I began formal training in Core Shamanism with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. I continued my studies through the Foundation’s Healing Series, graduating from the Two-Week Shamanic Healing Intensive in 2019 and the Three-Year Program of Advanced Initiations in Shamanism and Shamanic Healing in 2024.
Alongside my shamanic training, I am a registered social worker and psychotherapist in private practice. I hold a Bachelor and Master of Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) and a Doctor of Education in Social Justice from the University of Toronto. In addition to my therapeutic practice, I maintain a longstanding commitment to spiritual inquiry and ethical practice.
I call Mississauga home, where I continue my shamanic practice and maintain a connection and hold deep gratitude to the land, often spending time along the Credit River.
