Brandon Alter (they/them) is a queer, non-binary shamanic healer and teacher. They also have over a decade of experience as a professional astrologer and Tarot reader. They co-host the Spiritual Gayz podcast with their husband, where they explore the far reaches of spirituality without pretending it all makes sense. Also a writer, Brandon is currently developing a full-length musical inspired by artist Pamela Colman Smith and The Fool's Journey Through the Major Arcana of the Tarot.

Brandon has always been interested in the invisible world. As a child, their mother used to ask them where they wanted to meet up in their dreams each night before going to bed. Since 2014 they have been studying and practicing shamanism and it has become the critical foundation of their entire spiritual practice.

When their mother passed away in 2022, the spirits helped walk them through this tremendous grief with extraordinary grace. They have seen firsthand the incredible power of the spirts to bring healing to impossible situations and provide miracles in ordinary reality. This is why they are so passionate about teaching these skills to the world.

Brandon is a graduate of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies Three-Year Program of Advanced Initiations in Shamanism and Shamanic Healing. They also have a BA from the University of Southern California.
