I was raised in a rigid dogmatic religious home, where I felt extremely unsafe. So I learned how to “read the room” at a very young age. As I began to make my own home later in life it had to be my sanctuary, my safe place. As I accumulated a few more birthdays, the Universe sent me a left hand turn called a “Spiritual Path”. It was at that point that I began to understand what I’d grown up with and in, why safety/sanctuary were so important in my life, and what I’d been doing to create and sustain that in my world. I’ve spent 35 years of my professional life in small business. 30 of those years running my own business. I’ve spent nearly 30 years also studying indigenous healing traditions. It has been my privilege to apprentice with many of the mountain and jungle shamans of Peru,
